Tracey @ A Cottage Industry is having a Garden tour~ so pop over and check out the lush gardens~ you will not be disappointed.Here is my favorite spot in my yard~ I have to sit across from it to gaze upon it~ I know~ it seems pretty odd to show you a picture of the side of a garden shed~ but it reminds of the farm~ all the out buildings~ each a playground, a fort, or a hide-n-seek spot for us as kids. Always there were stray flowers around the out buildings, tiger lilies, daisies, irises~ many heirloom varieties planted by the previous family, I am sure. So this little corner with the broken down willow chairs, the overgrown tree (which is being pruned later today) and the peony bush (blooming late this year) is a very calming respite from my busy day~ I sit across the yard and gaze at it and daydream.

I love willow furniture! It really does look like a calm, sweet, cozy spot. You have such wonderful memories from your childhood.
